In choosing Mansfield as a Finalist for Deal of the Year, judges evaluated the July 2009 acquisition of C&N, a leading ethanol marketer representing 500 million gallons of ethanol production and 150 million gallons of biodiesel production capacity. The expansion of alternative fuel offerings allows supply to 150 new markets. The nomination recognizes the challenge of increasing fuel supply derived from sustainable sources.
